// what we do
Capabilities & services
Flat sheet to finished part under one roof. Our CNC fibre laser does the cutting; the fabrication shop next door folds, welds, deburrs and powder coats — so you can buy a ready-to-fit component from a single supplier in Andover.
CNC fibre laser cutting
Our fibre laser cuts mild and stainless steel up to 20 mm, aluminium up to 15 mm and brass up to 10 mm, with a maximum part size of 2995×1495 mm. Fibre gives a clean, tight kerf with minimal heat-affected zone, repeatable hole positions and crisp small features — ideal for brackets, plates, gaskets, gussets, panels and decorative work alike.
We nest your parts to make the most of every sheet, drive the job straight from your DXF/DWG, and hold tolerances suited to general fabrication and assembly. One-offs, prototypes and repeating production runs are all welcome — no minimum order.
The full service list
Six things we do every day — cut alone, or combine them for a finished part.
Sheet laser cutting
Profiles, holes, slots and engraving in mild steel, stainless, aluminium and brass, up to 20 mm and 2995×1495 mm, driven straight from your CAD.
Tube & section cutting
Round tube, box and angle section cut to length with profiled ends, slots and holes — ready to weld up into frames and structures. Ask about your section size.
CNC folding & forming
Press-brake folding of laser-cut blanks into brackets, boxes, trays, enclosures and panels, with consistent bend angles and flat patterns developed from your part.
MIG & TIG welding
Welding and sub-assembly in steel, stainless and aluminium — from a single seam to a fully fabricated and dressed assembly, by coded welders.
Deburring & finishing
Edges deburred and linished as needed so parts are safe to handle and ready to coat, paint or assemble straight away.
In-house powder coating
A full powder-coat line for mild steel and aluminium — a huge RAL range, durable finish, no waiting on an outside coater. Surface graining for stainless too.
Cut, fold, weld, coat — one supplier
Because the cutting laser and the fabrication shop share the same floor, your job doesn't bounce between sub-contractors. We take a flat sheet, cut your blanks, fold them, weld the assembly, deburr it and powder coat it — then you collect a finished part or we ship it. Fewer handovers means fewer delays and one point of contact when you have a question.
This is the trade laser arm of Hurstbourne Forge, so the full forge workshop — fabrication, finishing and assembly — sits right behind it.
