Repeating bracket run for a machine builder

Brief
A scheduled run of folded mounting brackets, called off monthly, finished black and ready to bolt straight onto the line.
What we did
Cut the flat blanks from CR4, press-brake folded two bends per part, deburred and powder-coated RAL 9005 matt black in-house.
Outcome
One supplier, one price per part falling with quantity, and a repeatable call-off so stock is never the bottleneck.

Brushed stainless fascia for a hospitality fit-out

Brief
Wall and counter fascia panels for a commercial kitchen — corrosion-proof, food-safe and visibly clean, with flush fixings.
What we did
Cut to a brushed-grain finish with protective film kept on the face, added countersinks for flush screws, edges deburred for safe handling.
Outcome
Panels arrived film-on and scratch-free, fitted flush first time, and meet hygiene requirements with no coating to chip.

Lightweight enclosure for an electronics prototype

Brief
A vented, lightweight enclosure for a prototype run — needed fast, with a repeatable thread to assemble and re-open.
What we did
Developed the flat pattern from the customer's 3-D model, cut vent slots and folds, and fitted PEM-style threaded inserts so the thin sheet takes a machine screw.
Outcome
A third the weight of a steel box, ready to assemble, with a clean route to a production batch once the design was signed off.

Brass signage for a shopfront

Brief
Standalone brass lettering and a logo for an exterior sign — crisp internal detail, warm finish, no visible fixings.
What we did
Outlined the artwork to paths, added bridges to loose letter centres for clean handling, and cut crisp internal detail straight off the laser.
Outcome
Sharp, repeatable lettering in solid brass with the patina the client wanted, delivered ready to mount.
Thick S275 steel gusset and base plates with bolt-hole patterns

Structural gusset & base plates

Brief
Thick gusset and base plates with accurate bolt-hole patterns for a steel fabricator, at the keenest possible material cost.
What we did
Cut from S275 at 10 mm with features sized to the thickness, nested tight across the sheet to minimise drop, edges deburred ready to weld.
Outcome
Accurate hole positions for bolt-up, less waste per sheet, and plates that dropped straight into the fabricator's jig.
Welded box-section tube frame with profiled joints

Welded tube frame, cut and fabricated in-house

Brief
A run of welded frames from box section — wanted as a finished, squared-up assembly rather than a kit of loose parts.
What we did
Cut the section to length with profiled, self-locating joints, then MIG-welded the frames up in jig and dressed the seams — all under one roof.
Outcome
Consistent, square frames with no sub-contractor handovers, delivered ready to use.
