Good laser cutting is more than a clean edge. It's the right material, properly certified; a job reviewed before it's cut; parts that come off the bed to size and deburred; and as little metal thrown away as the nest allows.

Material you can trust

We buy our sheet, plate and section from established UK and European steel stockholders — mild steel, stainless (304 and 316), aluminium and brass in recognised grades. Material certification is available on request, so for traceable work you know exactly what you're getting, not unknown-origin stock of variable quality.

Engineering review on every job

Before anything goes on the laser, a real engineer checks the file. We look at geometry, minimum feature sizes for the chosen thickness, nesting and whether the material is in stock. If a slot is too narrow or a hole too close to an edge to cut cleanly, we flag it and suggest a fix — so you don't pay for parts that won't work.

How we hold quality

  • Fibre-laser precision — a tight kerf and small heat-affected zone for clean edges, accurate holes and crisp small features.
  • Driven from your CAD — parts are cut straight from your DXF/DWG, so what you draw is what you get, repeatably across a run.
  • Deburring & linishing as needed, so parts are safe to handle and ready to coat, paint or assemble.
  • Inspection before dispatch — parts are checked against the drawing before they leave, and folding/welding is carried out by time-served fabricators.

Tolerances: we work to tolerances suited to general fabrication and assembly. If your job needs something tighter, tell us up front and we'll confirm what's achievable before you commit.

Cutting waste, not corners

The biggest lever a laser shop has on waste is nesting — arranging parts so as little sheet as possible is scrapped. Every job is nested to make the most of each sheet, common parts are nested together, and usable offcuts are kept and re-used for small parts and prototypes rather than cutting into fresh metal.

What can't be re-used doesn't go to landfill: the skeleton, unusable offcuts and any rejected parts are segregated by material and collected by a licensed metal recycler. Steel, stainless and aluminium are endlessly recyclable, so our scrap goes back into the melt.
